Projects
Since branching out on my own in 2015, I’ve had opportunities to work with clients across industries – hospitality, fashion, education, publishing, healthcare. I work closely with entrepreneurs to build brand communications strategies, and plans to execute them.
These are select interesting projects I’ve worked on.
Brands: Grand, Zibe, GreatTrails, Regency.
Projects: Devised a content plan for, wrote and managed the corporate blog. Wrote website content, property descriptions, press releases, concept notes, newsletters, case studies & corporate presentations, attended and covered events, close coordination with the company’s other vendors and leadership teams at 14+ properties.
Brands: Radisson Blu Resort Temple Bay, Radisson Blu Hotel, Chennai.
Projects: Wrote press releases, interviewed and profiled chefs, coverage of food festivals on corporate blog, wrote content for new restaurant launches.
Property: Hilton Shillim Estate Retreat & Resort.
Project: Wrote script and story for the resort’s corporate video showcasing property highlights across amenities, food & beverage, conferences and events.
Products: Sustainable vegan bags, wallets and accessories.
Project: Communications and marketing consulting. Worked closely with the founders to build campaigns, crack brand positioning, plan and schedule content across channels – website, blog, newsletters, retail, events. Representation at London Fashion Week.
Products: Walking tours, audio tours.
Project: Communications and marketing – worked closely with the founder, storytellers and designers to build content strategy, plan, write & manage brand blog, social media accounts, and Tripadvisor responses. Voice-over for audio tours.
Products: Contemporary clothes for women made with handwoven and natural textiles.
Project: Worked closely with the founder to plan and execute PR, product and leadership positioning for press, content strategy targeted at the brand’s muse, writing and managing of brand blog.
Products: Maths and science lessons (audio, video) for India, Singapore, South Africa.
Project: Voice-over for over 1,000 lessons.
Products: Hospital laboratory services (India, Sri Lanka, Nigeria)
Project: Worked closely with founder and core leadership to crack brand positioning, understand target audiences and markets, and build a complete communications strategy.
Product: Guide book to living in Chennai
Project: Worked with the author to edit, ideate and communicate the guide. Managed promotions, PR, vendors and retailing.
Products: Online marketplace for printing
Project: Wrote blog posts to promote the brand’s offerings.
Project: Anchored several conferences, events and contests hosted by the South India Chef’s Association.
Services: Restaurant consulting, project validation, kitchen operations, concept and menu planning.
Project: Worked closely with the founder to figure out brand voice, writing of website content.
Project: Served on the board of studies for two years, worked to restructure the Master’s in Public Relations programme, taught several workshops and delivered guest lectures in communications.
